These are the words I spotted on a workbook for Japanese third-graders. Maybe, if you’re fluent, these words are too obvious to guess?
Out of the Word List at the end of the textbook New Horizon, published by Tokyo Shoseki, these are the “active vocabulary words”—i.e. words that a student is expected to learn to remember and use, not just passively recognize—or at least the ones that are 3 to 10 letters long.
According to Oxford Learner’s Dictionaries, to be certified with CEFR A1 fluency in English, you’ll need these words.
Out of the vocabulary you’ll need to pass the TOEIC business English test, here are the words 10 letters long or shorter.
Wordle rules apply, with the following changes.
The secret word and your guesses may have any letter count from 3 to 10 letters.
Outward arrows mean that the secret word is longer.
Inward arrows mean that the secret word is shorter.
An equals sign means that the letter count is correct.
The first letter of the answer is given at the start.
You have 7 guesses instead of 6.

Guess the randomly chosen secret word, which is 3 to 10 letters long.
You will see the first letter of the word at the start of each game. Guess a word that is 3 to 10 letters long.
You will get more clues based on the word you guess.
Gray tiles are misses, which means that the secret word doesn’t have that letter.
“←→” means that the secret word is longer than this guess.
Yellow words are grazes, which means that the secret word has that letter, but it isn’t there in the word.
“→←” means that the secret word is shorter than that.
Green letters are hits, meaning that the letter is in the correct place in the secret word.
“=” means that the guess has the same number of letters as the secret word.
You found the “answer”! If you guess the word within 7 guesses, you win.
*You can make guesses that contradict previous clues! If you can’t find a word that fits the clues so far, it’s also a valid strategy to use a word with lots of letters you haven’t used before.
You can guess any word from the ENABLE2K dictionary that is 3 to 10 letters long.
